Overview
About Me
I'm generous and kind, although I don't always show these qualities at first! I learnt that being nice can be misinterpreted for naivety, so I'd rather take my time to show my best self!
I often come across as bubbly, outgoing and sociable. I like to put people at ease, which might lead people to rely on me, socially and emotionally.
I'm not a Disney Princess! I'm more like a Fiona or a Merida.
I also don't feel like I live up many of the Italian stereotypes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like travelling and meeting new people, learn about cultures and exchange point of views.
I found out about couchsurfing for the first time when I was living in Dublin, and met lots of interesting people at meetups. In Cambridge, I kept going to couchsurfing meetings, and I kept using it for my trips.
When I was in Dublin working as an au pair, I enjoyed language exchanges.
It's amazing to know how many people want to learn or practice italian!
Unfortunately I never hosted because I did not live with people who were happy for me to do so.
I definitely feel safer to meet people in person first: I have one excellent experience of being a guest, and a another "weird" one.
