Overview
About Me
Hello I'm Diego, born in Mexico, and raised in the US AND Mexico. I moved back at forth at a young age and thus I have two native languages: English and Spanish. I went to university to study psychology and sustainable technologies. I now work full time in the bicycle industry for a manufacturing company.
I am passionate about traveling, outdoor activities, sustainability, cycling, psychology & sociology, and many more! I enjoy pushing my boundaries and challenging myself to do new things. I have a deep curiosity for life. I generally consider myself more of an introvert but I can be quite extroverted as well. Only since 2021 did I get to travel more and see the world and it has been a fascinating journey to do so. Foreign languages and cultures fascinate me and I take any opportunity I can to educate myself more on the topics. I also have a love for history and science.
Here are some of the activities I like to do: rock climbing, bouldering, mountain biking, gravel biking, hiking, urban exploring, playing games (video and board), attending concerts, watching movies, appreciating food, and Latin dancing (although I am still a beginner).
I am vaccinated and boosted against Covid19
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on courchsurfing to get to meet people, exchange cultural understanding, and generally do my part in welcoming people to Indianapolis. I have yet to host someone myself, but I have hosting expirience when my roommate hosted people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I mountain biked from the top of Pikes peak mountain 13,000 ft (4,000 m) to the bottom. Hands down the most physically exhausting task I've ever done. But I didn't die! Or even crash!
