About Me

WHERE DO I COME FROM ?
I was born in Argentina. I moved to Madrid (Spain) when I was 13 years old. The last 2 years I've been living in France.

HOW AM I ?
I'm a kind and calmed person. At first it may seem like I don't talk much, but that doesn't mean I'm shy. I like meeting people and chatting. And the moment I get a little confident, there's no one to shut me up.
I don't smoke. I try to follow a healthy lifestyle. I like eating and I can appreciate a good meal. I love meat and vegetables (all of them) but I don't like fish :'-( ... I'm working on it.
I like beer. I'm not a big drinker of strong alcoholic drinks, but occasionally I drink at parties and I can become very funny.

MY HOBBIES
- I love sports. I've been playing basketball almost before I learned to walk. I've been federated for many years and playing in official competitions (nothing professional, but serious). Nowadays, I just play in a small local league in France (nothing serious).
- I like hiking in the mountains. I grew up next to The Andes, in Mendoza (Argentina), so I always liked the mountain. Since I live in Toulouse (France), I have the Pyrenees at 2h from my house, so it's super easy to go hiking in summer or skiing in winter just for the day or for the weekend.
- Photography is another of my passions. I started playing with my fathers camera when I was a kid. I started learning by experimentation when my family bought our first digital camera (it was crap), but then I started reading books, magazines and web pages and little by little it went from being a curiosity to a true passion.
- I play the guitar and the ukelele. Very recently I start playing the electric guitar in a band. We play mainly classic rock. For example: Are you gonna be my girl by Jet, or Learn to Fly by Foo Fighters, and some Mexican, Uruguayan and Argentinean rock too.
- Did I mention I can also dance salsa and bachata? :-)
- And, of course, as an engineer, I love building stuffs: Arduino and RaspberryPi projects. I think my next project will be to make a 3D printer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I drove from Toulouse to Florence just to see a concert of Eddie Vedder. Around 1000km. The concert finished at 1am. Then I drove again all night up to the midpoint of the way. I took a nap and a quick bath on the beach and then I continued. It was exhausting but amazing!
(actually I was not alone, I was with a friend, we shared the driving)

Other cool things I did:
To pilot a small airplane (twice). It was a birthday gift.
Canyoning in the pyrenees.
Moving to France without knowing french xD

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some phrases in Spanish.
And I would be interested in learning something in your language.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If I have the opportunity I can bring you some Spanish jam (Jamon Iberico. The best in the world) xD
Sharing experiences while walking around the city or having a beer.
