Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing mainly because I believe it's one of the best ways to actually get to know a place and different cultures. When staying few days in a city, it is only through the eyes of a local person that you have a shot of comprehending how the city or culture works. Also, I am more interested in people and cultural exchange than sightseeing. That for me is the true essence of travelling.
