About Me

I'm pretty calm, easygoing and maybe even kinda silent. Depending on the situation I can be even shy, but if it's not the case, I'm pretty talktative. I like some things that could be defined as "simple". A slow walk, a good book, playing some music, having a drink with my friends, drinking tea on cold days, walking barefoot on warmer days, cooking meals, and so on.
I'm a guy with few friends, I prefer keeping them closer to me rather than having a lot of people who maybe I'll never know at all.
Sometimes I'm a bit clumsy, forgetful and also I tend to get lost, so you maybe wanna have that on mind haha.
For me, this is a very big opportunity for experience new things, so travelling and meeting other people and cultures is one of them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's pretty obvious that I'm couchsurfing for meeting people and for the wanderlust, but I'm pretty far more interested on the cultural exchange. Living on the same country for more than 2 decades is a lot, and makes you assume certain things that outside aren't that way. I really wanna grasp another way of living, so living a couple of days with local people is the best way (I think).
I'm expecting fun experiences to share.

Interests

I'm not exactly a high-performance athlete, but I have practiced lots of sports, lately did some parkour, gymnastics and rock climbing, so I'm pretty open to do any kind of physical excercise; also bought a cruiser skateboard some months ago and I'm enjoying a lot learning how to skate, I'll try to bring it with me.
Also, I have a collection of rocks, fossils, and minerals, so I'm always looking at the ground, trying to go to the mountains or rocky places for finding more.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is rock (yeah, a pretty wide range), but I'm always trying new artists and genres to listen to. I also enjoy some electronic, metal and new wave too (maybe you want to check out my lastfm page, so here's the link www.lastfm.es/user/DonAweonao).
I'm not too much into movies, but actually I'm trying to at least watch cult films; so if you wanna show me some, I would be pretty grateful.
I'm an avid reader since I was 4. I'm usually reading science books (geology specially) but now I'm trying to get into philosophy and cyberpunk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wanted to play music live before my 20's, and I did it two times; now I can die at peace and join the 27 Club hahaha.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you spanish, some basic guitar or bass, how to identify rocks and minerals, some chilean dishes, basic parkour.
I'm hoping to learn your native language (as much as I can), culture, cuisine and about you and what you like. If you know how to play an instrument, I'll be glad if you could teach me a bit.
Obviously (if not the most important), we can always share a good beer.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Whenever I can host, I'll be sharing with you a bed on my room, a sleeping bag, blankets and a towel if necessary.
