About Me

I'm a very open minded person, always happy and positive, seeking for knowledge, friendship, new experiences, and cultural exchange. I think life is not about money, but about what we do, what we see and what we feel. I enjoy being surrounded by nature but also like urban tourism.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because it can improve the experience of visiting new places. There's nothing better than exchanging experiences and meeting nice people all over the world. I can help people to maximize the enjoyment of visiting Brazil and I expect I can count on my new friends to help me to have some fun around the world.

Interests

I like music in general. It doesn't matter if it's Justin Bieber or Megadeth).
I also love history and architecture. I seek to visit architectonic landscapes, museums, old cities and any place with some historical relevance.
I like trekking, climbing mountains, exploring caves and all kinds of adventures which envolve being surrounded by the nature. There's nothing as good as breathing the pure air of the mountains or waking up with the sound of the animals in the woods.
I like soccer and swimming. My favorite club is Sport Club Corinthians, but I prefer to practice sports than watching it.
One of my favorite hobbies is photography. I really love photography and this is one of my reasons to start travelling around the world.
Besides all this stuff, I also enjoy drawing and watching movies. But let's leave it to the next topic.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite bands are Cheap Trick, Boston, Aerosmith and a lot more. I often listen to hard rock and heavy metal, but I can enjoy any kind of music, from reggae to psy. I have no problems with music.

Sci-fi, time travel, action, adventure, comedy and horror are my favorite movie genres. My favorite is Back to the future, but I like movies from George Melies and Hitchcock to Christopher Nolan and Steve Spielberg. I usually watch a lot of movies, so I have a lot to talk about cinema.

Most books I read are about history of Brazil, São Paulo, local culture and history. I'm not so interested in romantic novels, I prefer historical movies or maybe some thrillers or sci-fi.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I saved a girl from drowning in the ocean. Not so amazing, but I'm proud when I can help people.
Walking at night with a low battery flashlight through a 50km jungle until the battery was dead, so I had to sleep in a trench because it was impossible to camp there and I needed to wait for the sunrise.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach portuguese and english. I want to learn new languages and to learn everything I can about other cultures. I know very well the streets of São Paulo and that's one thing I can share with my couchsurfers friends. I live with my parents so I can't host people here, unless it's only for a few days.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my experience on trekking, exploring jungles, caves and mountains, and of course all I know about Brazil and all the experiences I've had through my life living here.

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, England, France, Italy, Spain, Vatican City State
