Nací en Santander de Quilichao, un pueblo muy cerca de Cali, en Colombia. Interesado en comprender, entre otras cosas, los problemas de la sociedad colombiana, incluido el conflicto armado interno, comencé a estudiar Ciencia Política en la Universidad Icesi de Cali en 2014. Más tarde, en 2017, comencé a estudiar la carrera de Sociología al mismo tiempo.

En 2014 (enero-junio) estudié inglés en Bournemouth, Inglaterra. En 2016 (junio-julio) viajé por Argentina y Chile, y trabajé como voluntario en un proyecto social con niños de entornos problemáticos en la ciudad de Rosario. En 2018, fui estudiante de intercambio en la Universidad de Turín (Italia) y también viajé por varios países europeos durante el verano.

He trabajado en temas de bienestar social y participación comunitaria de jóvenes, personas mayores, comunidades étnicas (indígenas y afrocolombianas), entre otros. También realicé estudios de posgrado en Gobierno y Políticas Públicas.

Soy un entusiasta de la ciencia, la música, los viajes, las caminatas en la naturaleza y el fútbol. Me gusta conversar, soy muy curioso, respetuoso y tolerante ante la diferencia.

I was born in a small city located between Popayán and Cali, Colombia. Driven by an interest in understanding the challenges faced by Colombian society, particularly issues like the internal armed conflict, I began studying Political Science at Icesi University in Cali in 2014. In 2017, I also started studying Sociology simultaneously.

In the first half of 2014, I studied English in Bournemouth, England. In the summer of 2016, I traveled through Argentina and Chile, where I volunteered on a social project working with children from challenging environments in the city of Rosario. In 2018, I studied as an exchange student at the University of Turin in Italy, and during that summer, I traveled to several European countries.

My work has been focused on social welfare and community participation, particularly related to young people issues, older adults, ethnic communities (including Indigenous and Afro-Colombian groups), etc. I also pursued postgraduate studies in Government and Public Policy.

I am passionate about science, music, traveling, and nature walks. I enjoy talking about different topics, I’m very curious and tolerant of differences.
