ABOUT ME

I'm willing to know some interesting persons out there, visit new places, have fun spending time with people from foreign cultures sharing nice moments, telling stories and enriching my life experience. I'm an average guy who just wants to travel the world and help fellow travelers doing the same when visiting my own place.

People says about me, I'm a transparent guy who talks and analyze too much :P and I'm always blaming ... yes it's true. anyway I'm an open minded guy available to discuss about ANYTHING who loves to relate with people especially if they have something interesting to say.

PHILOSOPHY

in this moment I guess just enjoy life. You know life is still a mystery to me and honestly there's no more time to disguise about any hidden truth. I did in the past and got involved in several faiths or religions as you may call them. None of them ever really convinced me or satisfied my need for answers. My current status is just trust your own perception..it's all a matter of perceiving what the universe may bring to your "soul". Sometimes maybe act to improve yours and everybody else life. Be a kind person, spend your time for others own good because what goes around comes around. A really shallow definition of Karma I guess -but that's another BIG word I don't really deserve to cite.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just a newcomer...I'm available to host people in Rome in my house. I live here alone and have plenty of space to reserve private areas for my guests. Hope to have the chance to travel soon and to be hosted as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted previously in Poland and had the chance to meet people hosting couch surfers here in Rome.

Pearl Jam, Eddie Vedder(!), SoundGarden, Chris Cornell(!), Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains, Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Pantera, Dream Theater, Black Label Society, Pink Floyd, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guns and Roses, Extreme (and counting...) as you can see everything who's been a milestone in Rock/HardRock/Metal. Of course there's a big list of guitar virtuoso like Vai, Satriani, Malmsteen, Paul Gilbert, Zakk Wylde, Nuno Bettencourt(!) but yet it would be endless. I just cited a few to give an idea about my tastes at least in the mainstream domain.

Of course I love movies and books also...but it would be a mess now to start talking about it. There's soooo much to say! ok I will just cite one movie...just because is the first coming to my eyes from my collection -Amadeus! it's a movie I watched hundreds times and I still enjoy every time. But also countless cults like Blues Brothers, Back To The Future, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Jesus Christ Superstar(! wow I love that one) most works from Kubrick, Stephen King, Spike Lee, Tarantino!, Woody Allen, Guy Ritchie, TimBurton!, Lynch, ok let's stop here...it would be an endless list. And I still didn't touch tv series!! of course I watched hundreds seasons of countless series but to make a long story short I will just say: yes I've been addicted to LOST :)

and now about the books...honestly I'm much used to read essays and lately quite often politics stuff -you know we had a really confusing period in Italy during the past 6 years. Anyway in my school years I read lots of italian literature and some english classics -mainly Shakespeare, Joyce, Oscar Wilde

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I may just teach some cooking recipes from my local traditions, share ideas on technologies and related trends, even technical details since I work as a software developer in the IT field. But much more important it would be enjoying to show and share guitar skills -even just play and sing together ;)
