About Me

I'm a very calm person. Very peaceful, respectful and a very good listener. Maybe this suits the "cat person" thing.

Most of times I'm thinking miles away of the mysteries of the universe or the perfect way to bake a banana cake.

Aaaand, I'm terrible with general use of self description.

The profile isn't verified because its too damn expensive to do so, specially considering the cost in Brazilian currency. But I do exist, guys, for real!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the stories of travellers. I want to be able to live some of what I hear and tell most of I go through so that this cycle continues with somebody else.

Music, Movies, and Books

For music, I am really into most of them. I have a special thing for both classic rock and metal, but classic, Brazilian popular music, indie and electro also have their spaces on my playlists.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are many adventures and misadventures to remember, but some are:

I do a round trip at least once a year from São Paulo to Porto Alegre riding alone a small motorcycle. About 650 miles along amazing landscapes at slow speed.

When going the Atacama Desert in Chile, I and my gf were heading to a city were we would stay for a couple days. It had been 400 years since it rained there last time there and guess what happened RIGHT WHEN we about getting there? Yep, it rained, and it rained hardcore rain. The city collapsed, the government blocked all ways to town and we were able to move only by hiring a crazy guy to move us through the mid desert in a large truck (not by the road). We managed to get out of disaster area but the surrounding cities were not much better, and we had to move unplannedly to another city 200 miles away which had no more hotel, hostel or airbnb rooms available because everyone who couldn't stay at home or visit the cities in the Atacama went there. We ended sleeping at the beach with some others unlucky couchsurfers we met in our journey there, and it was surprisingly fun

In my trip to Canada, I've been locked out of my car with two friends in a deserted national Park at night with no phones and absolutely no one else around for miles - no one else around but bears! Luckily, after a few hours hiding from the bears in a high place, we saw the flashlight light of a guy who was taking night pictures of the sky (completely unaware of the bears around, of course) and was passing there just by chance. He lent us his phone, we called for help and we had a really fun time talking about our misadventure. He shot the beautiful picture of the night sky which is my profile
