Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I love meeting local people from the places I'm travelling to I consider Couchsurfing as one of the best methods to do so. I'm glad as well to receive people from abroad at my place and show them around the city and the amazing (and sometimes shocking for some standards) Spanish culture!

Interests

I really love mathematics and all related with science, hard rock and ska music and meeting people for all over the world to learn about them and their culture.

Two things I'm passionate about are playing music (I'm currently focused in electric bass but I can manage with cello and guitar) and politics (I have no problem to discuss any topic as long as I've got informed enough about it previously. I hate to talk nonsense or give stereotypical arguments about issues I don't know well)

I lover giving massages. However, I consider myself and amateur masseur, which means I can give good relaxing massages but please do not ask me to fix any muscle/tension area as I could worsen it rather than make you feel better.

I recently tried with a bit of Yoga and Salsa dance, but not doing really well with any of those to be honest. More practice will make improve for sure!

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to be more into metal in the past and I'm currently discovering blues, ska and reggae music. Some of my favourite bands are: Metallica, Rammstein, AC/DC, Three Days Grace, Iron Maiden, Apocalyptica, Ska-P, Talco, La Raiz, Mafalda, Trashtucada, Boikot, Los Chikos del Maiz.
Classical music always suits for every situation and emotional state.

Drama, Thriller, Comedy, action... the quality of the film and what it's able to transmit is much more important than the kind of movie itself.... except with musicals. I can not stand them!!

Big reader! I abandoned novels a few years ago cause although they're really entertaining one have no time for everything and sociology, anthropology, politics and history drive me crazy!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I participated in a 3 weeks work camp in Cuba in 2013 together with around 120 Europeans where we worked and shared everything with local farmers and workers to help them raise the annual production rate. Definitely one of the best and most inspiring experiences of my life.

In Summer 2016 I joined a group of 42 people from all around Europe to travel from Saint Petersburg to Beijing by train on the Transsiberian route. Visited 3 countries and made around 7000km in a month!
