About Me
Hello all, my name's Diego, and I'm a Spanish-born, American-raised guy from Charleston. I love music in all its forms, and play a variety of stringed instruments. I've also recently started copywriting, and am enjoying that quite a bit.
I'm looking to expand the horizons of my comfort zone, or perhaps to do away with it all together. While my list of visited countries may yet be small, I intend to explore! A part of that starts here, but I suppose that's best saved for the next section of this profile.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet you in your native habitat! Well actually, that sounded pretty NatGeo, so let me rephrase: you don't really know a place and its people until you've experienced a taste of normal life among them ("normal" being completely relative, of course).
In an ideal couchsurfing situation, we'd trade stories, share skills, eat and drink and do as the Romans do. Or alternatively, you do your stuff and I do mine. Really, I don't hold too many expectations.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've been teaching cello lessons for 13 years. I have also given beginning violin, viola, bass, guitar, and mandolin lessons with a pretty good level of success!
Down to learn just about anything, if you're enthusiastic about sharing it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Beginning/intermediate music lessons, stories, spanish tortilla, senses of humor and adventure.
