About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I finally found peace and happiness and they say that the latter ought to be shared to be real.

ABOUT ME

Born in Brazil but lived in Europe for 20 years. Studies a BA of Economics at UAM in Madrid and the MA Brazil in a global perspective at King's College London. I worked in hospitality and finance but only now I found my place as an English teacher in Rio de Janeiro.

PHILOSOPHY

After a long time thinking I did not have any passions. Once I found the first, I found them all. Now I believe that "Le véritable voyage n'est pas d'aller vers d'autres paysages mais d'avoir d'autres yeux" as Marcel Proust wrote.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming 1 kilometre from an island to the shore, in Brazil. A boat left us on the island and we had to race back to the coast. It was the most intense hour of my life. Until then I had always swam in swimming pools, never in the sea. The physical tireness and my imagination tricked me badly. The sea's corrent did not allow me to swim straight. I was the last to reach land but during the time I swam I realized, for the first time in my life, my tiny little role among nature.
