About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Organizing the new life!

ABOUT ME

It isn't easy to describe yourself, but let's go: I'm very communicative, enjoy exchanging life experiences, abroad cultural details and travel tips. I love music, and will be very happy if you bring something you like to listen, or your local music!I have a degree in law, and study for being a public lawyer (some day!).I live with Adriana, my wife. Everybody from the Recife CS community loves her, and I hope you will like her too.I love playing tennis, and practise at a club near my apartment, and at courts on the beach . If you like it bring your racquet, and we can play! If you can't bring it we can look for one.

There´s another passion I learnt recently to love: bicycling. It changed completely the way I observe and live my city. Instead of protecting myself from it, I occupy it! I Love the Critical Mass movement and friends I met there.

PHILOSOPHY

Want to make my life worth it. "The human mind once stretched by a new idea never goes back to its original dimensions" (Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.). Appreciate honesty and transparency.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I usually join the CS Recife community events (less than I wanted, fact!) and offer some space and time to surfers who want to know more than touristy things of my city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS is like travelling in your own house, specially in the cultural interaction aspect. It´s also a great opportunity to help visitors to know the local aspects of the city, avoiding "touristy" advices and other artificial experiences. In other word, CS is the best way to know what the city and its people really are.

Interests

Sports in general, specially tennis. Listening music. Photography. Bicyling! Urban development. Public transportation.
