I was born in a little island nearby to the Amazon forest, northern Brazil. Its name is St. Louis because it was founded by French people, but the island looks more like Lisbon than Paris because the Portuguese soon drove them all. So we have the greatest amount of Portuguese mansions and tiled throughout Latin America. The island is also known as Brazilian Jamaica because in addition to samba, forró, bossa nova and all Brazilian music, reggae is pretty enjoyed there.

Then I came to study in São Paulo, a much more cosmopolitan city, and here I am for almost 10 years. Living in São Paulo is to have a little bit of every corner of the world near you.

Most amazing things I've done happened in travel. One stands out: with friends I climbed Mount Fuji. And I am still not sure if I went down back. =]
