About Me

Hi everyone, my name is Diego, 29 years old and married. I'm Brazillian but since 2015 I'm living in Pisa, Italy. I'm pursuing a PhD in physics at University of Pisa. Member of Couchsurfing since 2013 but only this year (2016) using it frequently.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am very interested to share the culture of my country, Brazil, and also about the Italian culture. I hope to know more about new habits and culture of various countries during my travels. In the end, I am interested in meeting new people and learn more about them. Italian and French are also my interests. I hope to see all you...

Interests

During my travels or hosting someone, I would like to practice English conversation with someone interested to. I also can teach Portuguese and/or Italian to some native English speaker or who has an interest in my mother tongue, and then learn something about English too. Im also interested in learning other languages and different cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like so much mix of rithms. In my country, that is very common. Rock n' roll and progressive metal are the kind of music I listen to more. My favorite bands are Led Zeppelin, Angra, Almah and Foo Fighters. My favorite movies are Dramas and SciFi's. Interestellar, Angels and Demmons and The Pursuit of Happyness are three of my favorite Movies. I like fiction books, but I prefer books about historic facts or different culture and countries. Great Mysteries of the Past and The Da Vinci code are two of my favorite books.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach my hosts and/or my guests about my mother tongue and Italian language. I wanna learn about my hosts/guests' culture and languages. I have a strong interest of sharing cultural experiences when hosting or traveling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

In the end, the most important thing I can share is my time and my desire to make new friendships in the hosting and traveling experiences.
