About Me

I was born in Uruguay, where I grew up and completed my university degree in social sciences. Later, I pursued postgraduate studies in political science in Spain. I then returned to my home country, which I missed a lot, but now I'm back in Europe since August 2024, to continue working on social projects that I am part and passionate about.

I consider myself a social science enthusiast, and my guiding principle is to contribute to making the world better and fairer. Additionally, I love to travel whenever I can to explore new places, inquiry about new topics, meet new people, and learn about different cultures, which I believe is one of the best learning experiences anyone can have.

Since joining Couchsurfing, I have been continually amazed by the wonderful people I have met and the things I have learned from them. I am grateful to be part of this incredible community.

Music, Movies, and Books

A book that I recommend: The Dawn of Everything, by David Graeber and David Wengrow

A photo that inspires me: The Pale Blue Dot, Voyager

A movie that I laughed at: Don't look up

An old song of my homecountry that I always remember: Brindis por Pierrot, Canario Luna y Jaime Ross, con Falta y resto

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in the jungles of Costa Rica for some months, in between two volcanos, at a social-tech hub place, where I got the opportunity to see incredible animals and plants around, plus the presence of weird geological and weather related phenomena

Since then I think I got a personal problem with monkeys, especially the howler ones -the loudest land animal-, and that always woke me up very early

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
