Hi I'm Diego from Italy, living in London.

I'm a software developer, a job that comes from a young age passion together with drawing and writing.
Over the years, I've occasionally written poetries, painted a few portraits and in 2019 I wrote and illustrated a self published children's book.

I like being humorous as I strongly believe that laughter brings the right people closer, but at the same time I always try to be polite and respectful, especially with people I just met.

Running is my favourite outdoor activity: I've been running almost without breaks for the past ten years and successfully completed six half marathons.

I travel quite a bit during the year, mostly to Czech Republic and to Poland to see familiar faces.
When visiting a new city, I try going to the most interesting museums, natural places if there's a chance and finding nice cafes and restaurants. I'm a big cappuccino lover but not a big consumer of alcohol.

I like sport, I've been playing soccer, biking, and jogging since my childhood and I try not to be out of training for too long periods. However, sometimes during my life my lifestyle may change drastically until the day I decide to get back into training!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined Couchsurfing years ago out of curiosity, to break the monotony of solo travelling, and I must say it was an interesting experience. :)

兴趣

I'm interested in programming. That has been my curiosity and a passion then, years before becoming my profession. And since I am an artistic person, I started of course because of my early love for videogames.
But I am a creative person as well (and I come from Italy), so one of my more recent passion has become baking: bread, croissants, brioches and first of all pizza!!! Food is art (for your stomach) and, well, in the end I've always loved good and tasty food ;)

I like Italian music from 80's-90's, just limited to few great artists. But I also like songs or soundtracks from movies or cartoons which I like and which remind me of the many periods of my life.

My first travel abroad, a school trip to Melbourne when I was 17, and seeing my son coming to the world. :)
