About Me

I’m a composer and musician originally from Italy, currently based in Los Angeles. My background moves between jazz, electronic music, and film scoring, and I spend a lot of time working with both instruments and technology.

Outside of music, I enjoy films (especially arthouse and thoughtful storytelling), nature, and anything that involves good conversation. I grew up playing guitar in bands, and over time my work expanded into composing for film, media, and experimental projects.

I like simple things: a well-cooked meal, a walk in nature, discovering a new place through a local perspective. I also practice yoga and play soccer when I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, traveling is really about people. I’m interested in how others live, think, and experience the world. Couchsurfing feels like a more human way to travel, less about checking places off a list, more about exchanging stories and perspectives.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is quite open: jazz, classical, electronic, ambient, rock, anything that has a strong identity.

I enjoy films that take risks or explore human stories in a deeper way.

When it comes to books, I’m particularly interested in psychology, perception, and how people make sense of the world. I’ve read most of Malcolm Gladwell’s books, and one of my favorite novels is 4 3 2 1 by Paul Auster.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Attending Sziget Festival twice (2010-2011) was definitely a memorable experience, but more recently, building a life abroad and pursuing music across different countries has probably been the most meaningful journey.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share some guitar, basics of music production, or talk about composing for film. And of course, some Italian recipes!

I’m always curious to learn, whether it’s a new recipe, a different perspective, or something completely outside my field.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m happy to cook Italian meals (that’s a given), but also to contribute with music, good conversation, or simply being a respectful and easygoing guest.
