About Me

ABOUT ME

I’m a very friendly and easy going person. I really enjoy traveling, and getting to know people from all around the world. I’m fascinated by the history and culture of the different places I visit.

I think traveling is one of the best ways to open one’s mind, to understand the world and the people in it while seeing amazing places.

In the last few years I’ve been doing politics in my country, and I’ve learned a lot and I’ve given the chance to help many people. However I’m closing that chapter of my life to dedicate myself to my real passion, teaching.

I’m an English teacher. I love teaching because I always learn a lot from my students and their different backgrounds and experiences. I’ve gotten to know amazing people and live great adventures thanks to all of them.

Now I’m planning to take my students abroad so they can get the opportunity to practice their English while getting to know the culture from true locals.

I love Mexico and I’m always willing to be a tourist guide for those who want to get the chance to travel around this beautiful country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I want to get the chance to meet different people and places. For me, the most important things in life are traveling to interesting places, making friends from everywhere around the world, spending good times, and creating great memories. And I think this is one of the best platforms to do just that.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love novels and books about history, and the ones the mix both are my favorites. Connect through music is always nice so I enjoy lots of different music styles, and I love to get to know new ones. Lately I’ve found my self watching way more movies than before, good, bad, and in between. I think it’s lovely to spend an evening watching movies .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked (for a little while) at a TV channel. I also got the chance to act in a few short films, all of them for a film school, but it was definitely interesting and fun. I’ve done a little bit of radio and lately digital marketing.

I’ve traveled through most of central and southern Mexico. I’ve been to San Francisco, L.A., and San Diego. I got the wonderful chance of spending a month in Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada, where I met amazing people from Germany, Switzerland, Korea and Japan. Some of them came to Mexico, and we spent a great time touring around the country.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can definitely teach English if you want to learn from me, I’m really happy to help with your needs in this language. I’m also interested in learning as many languages as I can.

I’m willing to listen to the stories you have to share, I do think that one of best things we can share is our life experience. I really enjoy cooking, but mostly eating, we can definitely share a meal talking and having a great time.

Sharing a table with good food, drinks and amazing company is one of the greatest pleasures in life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

First a nice friendship, if I can help in any way I definitely will. I also offer a nice place to stay, sometimes I have entire apartments where you can stay, some others just a room, and less frequently a couch.

If you need some to guide you through Mexico City, Cuernavaca or Morelos state I’m your guy.
