Still, bewelcome.org is not as widespread (yet) which leads me back to the roots from time to time.

Born in the south german province, I meandered to and from Berlin and finally stayed for more then a decade, then moved to the green town between the hills of Saale Valley - Jena.
Often I long for an another place than the place I actually am at. I travelled a lot throughout my studies, tried life in several european cities and enjoyed it a lot. I also could imagine living in another place in Europe again.
I'm not afraid but happy to encounter with people I don't know yet. Sharing and learning - different views, characters and experiences just make it more enriching.
I appreciate to be outside, in summer as well as in winter, and my bicycle gives me company. Especially in autumn I turn into a cineast, and I love spending time with friends, at home or in one of the lovely bars in Jena - cooking, story-telling and discussing.
