Hello world!

I'm Robert from Leipzig, Germany and I'd like to see as much of this amazing planet as possible. I learn and write for a living - I studied Political Science and am on my way to become a newspaper editor. This shapes my approach to travelling as well, since I often find myself being drawn towards historical places and important public and politically important places. The reason I'm writing this on Couchsurfing though is because I really care about people and how they live. To exchange stories is super important to me. So if you're also interested in that, let's go for a walk, have a drink and see old and new places!

I've been using Couchsurfing since 2012. I travelled around South America back then and had the chance to meet amazing people and get to have a glimpse of what it might be like to live their lives. It has really influenced the way I travel and see the world.

I'm a political person and am very interested in contemporary developments in global, international, national and regional politics. I also know how to talk about other topics though :) I went to a special high school for music and I couldn't live without it. Also: Consciousness and psychology. Podcasts, photography, history, literature.
