hi all you traveling people,
My name is Dieuwke and i am born and raised in Amsterdam, I have been traveling the world from when i was 16 and i can't imagine to stop. I LOVE IT
I went interrailing with friends ( do it if your in europe it's a great way to get around)
to sweden and norway first and later to Scotland Ireland and England as well. At 17 i was off to brazil to volunteer in Sao Paolo and my latest trip wat to the Canadian Rockies. im Back home now and saving up to see even more of our beautiful world and I would love to show everyone around amsterdam (if i'm here of course)

i think couchsurfing is such a great initiative, when i'm traveling i like to be between the locals en interact with the people. This gives you a great idea about the country you are visiting and it gives you the opportunity to explore places you might never have thought of. the people that live at certain places know them the best so i like to learn from these people
