About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To continue to see the world with new eyes.
ABOUT ME
I grew up in a small town on the Gaspe Coast, which I have come to appreciate more and more over the years. We are so lucky to have the water and beach at our fingertips, the salty smell of the air and that breeze... I love it!
Travelling is such a passion for me. It has enriched my life like nothing else through the people I have met and the experiences I have had. Spending time with people, getting to know them, learning about the area, taking the time to take that deep breath and take it all in, and trying to get a real sense of what it feels like to live there on a daily basis... That's what I love most about it.
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy and appreciate each moment, each tiny pleasure... there are so many if only we look with open eyes, an open mind and an open heart. Be generous and kind... every smile really does makes a difference.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I see CS as an opportunity to meet some really amazing people and travel the world through the stories of others. It's about sharing and giving each other a hand, the way it should be.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed once and it was great! Really looking forward to doing it again.
Interests
Anything that has to do with the outdoors... be it skydiving, bungee jumping, paragliding, reading at the beach, a nice afternoon out on the four-wheeler, a barbecue on a sunny day in good company, sitting out on a terrasse or relaxing outdoors with a good beer on a summer night! I also really like curling up with a good book and some good tunes... you'll rarely find me without music playing somewhere in the background! And there's nothing like live music... Montreal really let me discover that side of myself - concert addict!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the coolest experiences I have had was spending four days with a Kichwa family in the Ecuadorian jungle. To see and experience how connected they are to their environment and how much they depend on it, and respect it, was incredible. It made me want to give back even more to it... it gives so much to us, and so freely.
