About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Life is way too short to be wasting it on things you don't want to be doing.
ABOUT ME
I love travelling and have not done nearly enough of it. Have decided to live my mission statement and I work to support my mission! Have a wonderful hubby Geoffrey, and a gorgeous dog Bronson, who keeps me fit and active.
PHILOSOPHY
Never put off to tomorrow what you can do today. Treat people as you would like to be treated. Love and laughter are good for the soul. I hate grey days. Give me cool/cold sunny days any day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Try to tell as many people as possible about couch surfing to share and grow the culture.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When you are open and receptive to new things then letting people in from other walks of life truly is a magical experience. Every one that we have hosted via either CS or HC has resulted in friendship and has been wonderful for both parties. We enjoy having visitors and we look forward to being visitors!
Interests
I love to plan - anything. This does not mean I structure my life to a fixed routine it just means I do my research on everything and am prepared with knowledge. I love doing this. Give me my computer and let me spend an evening researching whatever I am thinking about. This could be anything from finding something new to cook, searching for a particular item I may be thinking about buying, looking for eco friendly ways to exist in this world, planning a travel experience or daydreaming about one, the list goes on. I only ever let myself get on the computer at night so daytimes are spent working, and when not working I love walking, bush walking, entertaining, cooking, catching up with friends, going to movies, camping, reading. Geoffrey is the musical one - he loves percussion and has a drum kit tucked away in the back shed where he loves to spend many hours.

Music, Movies, and Books
Last movie I saw: Revolutionary Road - loved it.
I'm playing: Dead Can Dance- Aion. Found it in my collection and it is enjoying a revival.
Books: Currently reading the Alchemist. Just lovely-read it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swum for 20 minutes in the freeezing crystal clear lake waters in the South Island of NZ (Blue Pools). Sat in a beautiful, warm thermal river in Yellowstone NP in the middle of the night in the pitch black with just the gentle murmur of other people also sitting in this same river and the banks of the river dripping with snow and the sky ablaze with stars. Snorkelled (many times) the Great Barrier Reef. Walked to the highest point in Australia. Crossed the road in Egypt! I can't limit the amazing things to just one!
Teach, Learn, Share
Never judge a book by it's cover and be open to new experiences. How easy would it be for us to "judge" by what we see and read on these pages. Go with your gut instincts and remember that the world is full of wonderful people that add depth and colour to your own life.
