HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf, awesomely. I try to be very courteous when traveling, willing to hang out or stay quiet and in the background depending on the need. I try to make sure any traveling companions I have act similarly respectful.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had an awesome time surfing with three college roommates in Omaha, NE. They were wicked friendly and accommodating, we got some dinner downtown at a place called Rock Bottom where the food and beer were amazing. It felt more like sleeping over at a friends house than crashing with someone you've never met before, it was an awesome experience, and totally has me excited about couch surfing.

I have these little bursts where I'm super agile and graceful, and at dinner with a friend the server knocked over a bottle of soy sauce with our bill, and I reached under the table and caught it without seeing it or even thinking about it, not a drop spilled.
