I like exploring, both geographically and intellectually. I know my own boundaries but enjoy trying new experiences. I get a buzz from meeting new people and am very much a 'conversationalist'. I keep an open-mind but am not afraid to disagree - and equally happy to be disagreed with!

As a traveler, I like to get a feel for the essence of a place, though conscious time sometimes barely allows one to scratch the surface. While I'm well versed in doing my own thing, I also appreciate getting know a place from the perspective of a 'local' and can find fascination in both the extraordinary and the mundane.
I hope that in general I manage to carry off a mix of passion, rationality, warmth and a sense of fun - but you'll have to be the judge of that...
