About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find hosts to stay with and meet fabulous people along the way!
ABOUT ME
Tea fiend, interior designer, animal lover, photo buff, vegetarian and collector of beautiful memories.
Hi, I'm a happily married lady who is new to LA as of a couple weeks ago so I have not figured out all the best spots yet. Ask me in a couple of months. I will say that we live on the Westside close to Venice/Marina del Rey and Santa Monica which in my opinion, has the best weather, nicest people, and great beaches! :) Travelling the world is one of my ultimate goals because I believe I have learned more and grown more from experiencing life in different cultures, exposed to different perspectives and trains of thoughts, than any class room has ever given me.
PHILOSOPHY
Everything works out in the end...I dislike waste (of food, energy, etc). Play fair, be kind, ethical and be your best self. I believe in karma through and through. I don't tend to trust people who don't like animals.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well, I have known about CS for quite a few years but have not had the opportunity to try it for myself until now due to hesitant travel partners or too many group trips. Luckily, my husband and I now live in a nice 3/2 apartment and can consider hosting for the first time. I have to say I'm a little nervous about the whole thing, so baby steps it is. Please understand if I don't accept your request. Since I am now active as of a couple days ago, I'm getting quite a few requests and if I accepted every single one of them, my husband and I would never be alone.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I studied abroad in Morocco, I worked with the local craftsman of storied Rabat on calligraphy, leather work and painting. The locals were so kind, funny and welcomed us with open arms. I will always cherish that time spent with them hunched over my projects, carefully stitching leather pieces together and communicating without words.
Snorkeling with turtles in Hanauma Bay, Oahu in crystal clear waters, left me giddy!
