Hello,
First things first, I'm not really good at writing awesome intro's, so don't be to hard on me.
Let's begin then. I'm a 23 year old that wants to become an artist (drawing, painting and etching). I came to Lille when I was 17, it was quite a change from Istanbul I can tell you that. I love to travel and experience new things. I especially love seeing what the local artists have to offer, so that I can broaden my perception of things.
When it comes to social interactions, I admire those that use black humor, satire ... Apart from that (like most people) I like to go to the movies, Museums are a given and concerts are awesome (any kind of music really, the ambiance of a concert is usually an intense experience) I read sci-fi and fantasy books (I hope you like Asimov , Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams and if you don't know them, I recommend strongly).
I recently started dancing (rock) with my partner as well, so as you have probably noticed, any type of art interests me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, because I believe that meeting new people is one of the most important parts of travelling, you get to see from there eyes what the place is like, learn from them and exchange experiences. Simply put to make new friends (hopefully if all goes well, a lifelong friend).

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, this is mean there are so many:
Music: right now I'm into rock, soul and funk music with some contemporary artists that attract my attention.
Movies: V for Vendetta, The Star Wars Saga, Most of Hayao Miyazaki's films, Jumanji.
Books: As stated previously Isaac Asimov's books, Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, Robin Hobb's The Fitz and The Fool trilogy......

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I donated tiny figurines that I made to an old people's nursing home, they auctioned them and won 3000 Turkish lira's.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you the basics of how to draw, several languages (French, Turkish, English, I know some Spanish but it's not perfect), some etching techniques, photography techniques, some Turkish or French recipes, how to play backgammon.
I am curious about most things but I would love to learn the most would be scuba diving and learning how to play the Kanun or the Ney.
And what I can share are my experiences, and my personality.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to get to know my host, so I could cook them a dinner. If they're interested we could visit the city together... In the house definitely I would help with what I can. And we could share experiences while talking over a coffee or something.
