我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Many years ago, when I was 19, I was working at an amusement park in South Carolina, US. My job was waiting at the shark catching game stand and chatting with the little kids passing by. But one day, the boss caught some toddlers playing with the toys without paying, and she publicly accused me of negligence, threatening to withhold my salary. That's when my colleagues stepped up, calling out the injustice and vowing to quit if I wasn't paid. At the end, they stuck to their word, and a few days later, the park got shut down by the police for employing workers illegally.
