Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm Dilara from Turkey. I'm studying Translation and Interpreting at Trakya University. And now I'm doing Erasmus in Torun, Poland. I want to meet people from everywhere and know different culture as well. All foreign countries and people are a new world to me, so open up the doors of your worlds and let me in :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to learn about the places where I go, so I need the local people in there. It gives a chance to me knowing different and new things. For me, the best way to exploring a country is meet the locals and I just don't want to see only buildings and pass by, also want to learn what that city is really about.
Interests
I love exploring, travelling, camping. Actually I love everything about nature. To know new things, meet people and share things are also my interests. Sometimes I just want to go aside and read some books and researching the things I want to learn. It's like a therapy for me. But I like dancing, going crazy, drinking alcohol also :D I can say that I'm an open-minded person.

Music, Movies, and Books
Generally I listen to deep house, but I like all the other genres of music like alternative rock, indie, pagan-folk, progressive house and etc. Mahmut Orhan, Oscar and The Wolf, NBSPLV, Rompasso, Faun, Imany, Massive Attack, Portishead, Sia, Noir Desir, Oi Va Voi are my favourite. :)
I love reading books of Stefan Zweig, Zülfü Livaneli and Sabahattin Ali.
I love watching science-fiction films. My fav is Le Herisson, it's not science-fiction but this movie is the one that I've most impressed . Also so many films in my archive that I can't count here. :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking on the road where I don't know.
