ABOUT ME

I am originally from Manchester in the north of England, but currently living in Oxford. I love being outside, and I’m a Bushcraft/Forest School Leader so I get to hang out in woodlands a lot! I’ve been part of the Couchsurfing network for over 10 years, but have taken a break on hosting for a while due to my home circumstances. Now I’m getting involved again, this time with my soon to be 9 year old Elijah, and my 3 legged dog Ren. We are a home educating family, and we travel a lot in our camper van. We’re about to drive from the UK to Greece, and hope to meet lots of interesting people on the way!

I have quite a lot of free time, and I love to travel and meet new people, and I have been able to indulge both these passions through this network!

I have met some great people by hosting them, or meeting them through friend connections. Hearing about people's lives, seeing things from a new perspective, making connections - it's been an enriching experience so far :)

I’m an English teacher by initial profession, so can help with that. I can also teach various Bushcraft skills.
I home educate my child, so we’re always learning something new.
