I am an Ohio native and die-hard Cleveland sports fan (Indians, Cavaliers, and yes, even the Browns). I have a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and geek out over nature/wildlife/animals/plants. I've worked for Cuyahoga Valley National Park and currently work for the United States Department of Agriculture in Chicago.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I'd like to travel more and meet more people in the process. Rather than just go to the places, see the sights, and leave, I'd prefer to make friends and get a feel for the locals along the way. I was shy growing up and want to be in situations were I am forced to open up and step out of my comfort zone.
