Hiiiiii!

I'm not very good at introductions but people always say I'm an interesting and quirky individual. I've been told by many that I'm rather funny as well but that I don't really know about. I've also been told many times I'm the nicest person they've ever met but I just try to be kind and respectful to everyone. I am kinda shy at first but I warm very easily and quickly to new people if I'm comfortable around them. I'd like to think I am easy to get along with as I am very laid back, open and honest. If you have any questions just ask away! I am a final year university student pursuing a double major in English Literature and Philosophy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I am a poor (soon to be) university student looking to try and make it in a new country all alone! I will be attending University of Wales - Trinity Saint David this fall but in February am moving to Wales for work (16th to be exact)! I'm hoping to find someone in Lampeter that would let me stay with them for a little bit until I find work and stable housing of my own (hopefully less than a month while I get my NINO and work). I've been trying to get as much of it sorted while in Canada but a lot I can't do until I arrive in the UK. I'll help out with whatever you need and pay as much as I can to help out until I can get settled on my own! I am first looking specifically Lampeter as when school time comes it will be an easy transition to school life as well as the fact that I have a couple friends currently living in Lampeter attending uni but they live on campus and are unable to help me with living arrangements.

However, if I either am unable to find anyone that can help me or I am unable to find a job where I can support myself I will be looking to do the same in Carmarthen.

I know this is a lot to ask but hopefully there is someone that can help me! :)

I also really like Pablo Neruda.

Movies: I'm not really into watching movies, but if I do, they're usually foreign (Japanese, Korean, Finnish etc.). I do watch A LOT of documentaries and Hayao Miyazaki though.

TV: I am kinda an Anglophile, even in Canada. I watch Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sherlock, QI, Would I Lie to You?, Peep Show, Skins, 8 out of 10 Cats, Mock the Week, Fresh Meat, Inbetweeners and Bad Education. The only North American shows I watch are Orphan Black, The Simpsons, Futurama, Adventure Time, Parks and Rec and Dragon's Den. I also spend a lot of time watching TED talks.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help with basic philosophy and English courses and literature lol. OH I can teach taekwondo! I used to be a volunteer instructor for children and adults and have a black belt in taekwondo!

I am open to learning anything you want to teach! I LOVE learning new things. In fact people always say I'm annoying 'cause I ask so many questions :(

My assistance in anything they need help with! Housework? DONE! Yardwork? DONE! Just name it and I'll try my best to help out (as long as it's legal, of course!) I'm truly grateful to anyone that can help me out! Can provide limited financial assistance if needed.
