I’m a mixed Malaysian and British student in the UK who takes travel opportunities where possible as they come up. So far I have been to 29 countries and I hope to hit all continents over the next few years. Having already stayed with 3 hosts, I fell in love with the idea of this platform and hope to meet many more likeminded travellers.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

In August 2025 a close friend of mine suggested we go explore somewhere completely new on a trip together. Having Couch surfed himself before multiple times he suggested it! I got to stay with 3 amazing hosts throughout the Baltics that showed me the beauty of staying in an intimate environment with hosts who knew these cities inside out, giving me new stories that I’ll keep with me for life.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

After me and many friends moved to remote corners of the world, spread across the UK alongside Malaysia/France/New Zealand, I pooled money together with some close friends. With this we booked a camper van in the peak of winter and did a 10 day road trip across 8 european countries. It really expanded my worldview seeing all the small towns often foregone along the
way, with a highlight being our van getting stuck in a tiny Italian town following a road closure where nobody spoke a word of English, all as a veterans parade happened around us.

As a student currently studying both Economics and Philosophy at university, I would love to discuss world affairs or even any abstract concepts you’re curious about or have learned yourself! Having travelled a great deal around Asia too, especially through growing up in Asia, I would love to share my own experiences with Eurasian cultural differences and learn more about the world we live in.
