Overview
About Me
I am from Aracaju, in the Northeast of Brazil, but I lived in São Paulo from 2009 to 2016. Since then, I've moved to Scotland to do a MA in Screenwriting. I've lived in Edinburgh for a few months and now I am in Glasgow.
I love traveling and learning about different cultures. I believe that is one of the reasons I enjoy films and TV series so much. Watching a film makes me feel temporarily transported to a place I haven't been too. Of course it's not the same as actually going to the place, where you can experience what it is like to be drowned in a different culture.
I also love reading, hanging out with friends and family and, even though I'm terrible at sports, I like playing most of them (I especially love cycling).

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not an expert in music... I love local Brazilian music and have lots of songs on my phone. I like classic rock as well, so I enjoy listening to Queen, The Beatles, Rolling Stones...
It's difficult to make a list of my favorite films, because I love so many! I'd say you would find in my list movies like The Godfather, Back to the Future, Contact, The Shawshank Redemption, The Lord of the Rings, The Silence of the Lambs and on and on...
I think it's the same for books. Harry Potter was very important in my life because it was one of the books that made me love reading. I also like fantasy and sci-fi in general, as well as some Brazilian authors such as Ariano Suassuna and Guimarães Rosa, who write incredible portraits of their region of the country.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach a little bit about Brazilian food. I know how to make some tasty dishes, even though it's hard to find the ingredients out of the country. Brigadeiros, though, are easy to make! I can also talk about Brazilian culture and give some tips on places to visit there - especially in the Northeast, where I was born and raised!
I'd love to know more about local culture, habits and typical foods.
I can also share a good talk (and probably show some interesting Brazilian music styles!).
