About Me
Hi! My name is Dima, I'm 28 and I'm from Kiev, Ukraine! I like words and sports, so all my life working as a sports journalist and social media manager, also in sports. I can call myself sports maniac in a good way, cause playing big tennis, basketball, football and like snowboarding :) My other big passion is electronic music. I have wide list of genres that I like, but mostly techno and house. I'm the one who's visiting clubs not for to drinking and listening random music, but only when my favorite artists coming :)
My other big passion is of course travelling. In previous 5 years I visited 35 countries, and I can't describe how much that experience changed my vision. Definitely in a good way! It's kinda hard to name my favorite ones, but I guess the best vibes was in Brazil, Jamaica, Mexico, Portugal, Spain and Italy. And the huge part in that outcome was made by people I've met there.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here to meet new friends all over the world and finally start to widen my knowledge about countries, their culture and interesting things, which I definitely was missing while I was travelling before!

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music is techno, little less is house. I do like many artists and many genres. The artists who I mentioned as iconic ones I guess are Paul Kalkbrenner, Modera, Daniel Avery, Solomun, Claptone, Maceo Plex, Charlotte De Witte, Dubfire, Radiohead and Coldplay. Let it be these but there are many more :)
My favorite movies are most from Guy Ritchie's list. But the very best one for me is his Revolver. Not very popular pick but this one is just something more. It gives you a priceless lesson about life.
I also have my favorite series and the best one for me is first season of True Detective. Watched it like 10 times)
Talking about books, I do like Aldous Huxley's "Brave new world", Erich Maria Remarque's "Arch of Triumph" and Jean Paul Sartre's "Nausea". From new ones I was excited to read Matthew McConnaughey's "Greenlights"
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Okay, let it be fresh experience :) I've made a videblog at my work, where I'm talking to basketball players on camera as a host, asking them fun questions and adding some memes in there. That was something very unusual for me and I liked the result :)
