ABOUT ME

I love traveling, meeting fun people, and getting into random conversation about odd topics (like why chopsticks are better than forks). I was born in Russia, grew up near Detroit, did accounting for a little while, then decided that the answer to all of life's questions lay in sunny Wisconsin and here I am!

I just moved from Madison (where I was working as a PM) to Milwaukee ... here, I'm at a similar job but now actually have a life.

Books - 1984, A Game of Thrones, The Magic of Recluse, Where the Red Fern Grows, The Wayfarer Redemption, Guns of the South, Wizard of Oz (Russian version), Crime and Punishment.

Just read "The Magicians" by Lev Grossman. To all the people out there like myself who read Harry Potter and wished that it were written for a more adult audience, this is for you. It's a great book that combines Chronicles of Narnia + HP in a darker / sexier version!

Movies - Back to the Future, Memento, Usual Suspects, Pulp Fiction, Inglorious Bastards, 300, V for Vendetta, Everything is Illuminated, Tremors, Armageddon, Matrix (and not for its special affects)
