About Me
Hello, Couchsurfing friends! My name’s Dmitrii. I come from small town near Moscow, Russia. Two years ago, I moved to Sunnyvale in Silicon Valley. I wanted to learn about startups and make my own. Now, I work on my project - it's AI Resume Generator(https://cuvilab.com). It helps people make good resumes. This work is hard but very interesting. I learn a lot about finding customers, making product better, and talking to investors.
I also work at REI selling shoes. I like this job because I talk to many people and learn how to sell better. It's different from my tech work, and I enjoy it.
I love playing board games. My favorites are strategy games like Brass, Great Western Trail, or Scythe. But I also enjoy fun games like Dixit and 5 Second Rule with friends. It's good way to relax.
I’ve always had pets. In Russia, I had one dog. Now in California, I have three dogs. They are very important to me. We go to beach together. They like running in ocean and catching waves. It's fun.
I like hiking and being outside in nature. My favorite places are Ventana Wilderness and Carmel River. It's very peaceful there. I feel happy and calm in nature.
Living in Sunnyvale is perfect for me. Weather is nice, and it's always sunny. It's heart of tech world here. I like being close to ocean and mountains too.
I started eating vegan food one year ago. I try not to eat meat and find vegan recipes like mushroom burger and banana bread. It's new for me, but I like it.
Before, when I traveled, I stayed with many Couchsurfing hosts. Now in USA, I want to give back. I want to make surfers feel at home with me.
Moving to USA changed me. I’m more open and learned to talk more with people.
I want to meet new people on Couchsurfing. If you like tech, vegan food, pets, board games, or just enjoy being outside, have an open mind, or are simply nice folks, I would be happy to connect. Let's explore together!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing because it's really fun and a great way to learn about others. I love the excitement of waiting for a new meeting. You wonder about the person you'll meet—will they be like their photo or their description? What will their voice sound like, are they serious or always smiling? But right after meeting, you know Couchsurfing is the right place. People are always kind and welcoming here.
Every time I meet someone new, it's clear that Couchsurfing brings together good people. Sharing experiences, your home, and culture with others shows you how different life can be for everyone. But also, you learn that we're all similar in many ways. Being part of someone's home, even for a short time, is the only way to truly understand how others live.
Couchsurfing is more than just finding a place to stay. It's about building connections, learning from each other, and looking at the world from various perspectives. Sharing and being together with others through Couchsurfing has made it a precious part of my life.
