My name is Dimathew, i’m 21 years old, and I currently work part-time and attend college full-time. I come from a Hispanic household, but share both Mexican and American cultural values. I love to travel, meet new people, go to music festivals, try new foods, and just try new experiences in general. I can be shy at times, but consider myself to be extroverted. I have a lot of energy, but can sleep for days if able. My schedule is typically pretty full with school, work, volunteering, friends, and family, but I make time to explore and try new things. I’ve been told i’m pretty mature for my age, and I tend to surround myself with people who are older than me. But I love people of all ages! I don’t discriminate, i’m very open-minded, and I care deeply for people. I’m currently going to school to become a Physician Assistant (a lazy doctor, basically), and I volunteer at a hospital helping sick children when I have free time. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on couchsurfing because I love to travel, and meeting new people is the best part about it. Any trip i’ve ever gone to, i’ve made it my mission to make new, long-lasting friends. I love talking to people, perhaps a little too much, and learning about their stories is fascinating to me. I consider myself a decently interesting person, and I love to share my story as well. Sightseeing is fun, but the people you meet are much more interesting. Who else is going to show you around? Nobody knows the best places to visit than a local. Couchsurfing allows me to meet new people, while simultaneously opening myself up to new experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is very much all over the place. I tend to gravitate towards R&B, Indie Pop, and Soul Music. I like EDM, and sometimes Rap. As far as movies go, i’m a sucker for a good horror movie. Both The Conjuring movies, Hereditary, Insidious, etc. I’m really into sci-fi books, and science books in general. Biocentrism is one of my all-time favorites, as well as the Halo book series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can’t really say i’ve done anything i’d consider amazing, but I do have some amazing things planned. My goals are to go skydiving, fly a plane, travel europe at least once, go to various music festivals around the world, and one day go to space. At this point they're all things I want to do, but haven't done yet. Soon, though!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can talk for hours on end, and I love a good story. Any story you’ve got, share it with me and I guarantee we’ll find some common ground. I consider myself a pretty extroverted person, and I love to try new experiences.
