ABOUT ME
I am a single dad at present with three boys, aged 5 7 and 8.

I am creative, funloving, serious at times, crazy at times, able to have a good time within limits. Love to go out, travel, have fun, activities, enjoy new experience with family and friends. I am musical, love reading and writing, singing, playing instruments, getting together to jam with fellow musicians, quiz nites at pubs and clubs, dancing, social and ballroom dancing, biking, and walking.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life like theres no tomorrow, like this is your last day on earth and live it to the fullest with everyone knowing how much you love them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to be a host as well as to be a surfer when time and money permits me to travel abroad. To experience people from all countries, and walks of life with different life experiences from my own.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have had Couchsurfers, budget travelers, and friends stay over from time to time and we have a good time.
My house is currently under renovation. As such it is Messy.
Messy. ( Yes I am repeating it!)
It is a work in progress, where every day I do some part of its improvement towards a model home. You would be sleeping in the hall downstairs. There is a large comfortable couch and if more than one person, I will provide very comfy thick mattresses, to be on the floor. Our hall is open to the garden. It can get quite nice and chilly at night. Being a tropical country, since the hall is open to the garden, there can be occasional small insects or creatures coming into the house, but thus far have never disturbed me whenever I sleep downstairs, nor any of my guests.

We do expect CSers to contribute towards food and utilities during their stay here, or if we are going on experiential tours, to join in.
Our couch is free, but food, electricity have to be contributed towards. We dont like guests who want to eat .from out, and merely expect us to give them a place to sleep. We want to share our home life with you as a whole, and are not a hostel to come home at night to sleep only.

Just to be clear, if you are looking at Couchsurfing as a way of getting free food and accomodation, this is not the place for you but instead you can go to many temples and they will provide this.

As you can see from our references, there are many genuine couch surfers who have agreed to this , and have had an enjoyable and memorable experience with us.

I conduct food tours, experiential tours, bar crawls, music tours, dance tours, and all sorts of other activities for guests who stay with me as well as visit the city. I share these experiences with my guests depending on their interests and desires.

For those who are like minded, my house can be a Clothing Optional location if you are into that . If you like to be like that, please let me know in advance.

ONE MORE THING - If I am going out, you cannot be alone in the house. No exceptions whatsoever. You are welcome to come with me on whatever I am going on , but cannot stay alone in the house.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ive seen a king cobra rise up to strike me and commanded it to leave and it did..
Ive seen the birth of two of my sons. Ive climbed Adams Peak and travelled thru out Sri Lanka. I have conquered superbugs and helped suicidal teens to recover. Did a trip to the USA where I covered 12 cities in 21 days, seeing a lot of the country by plane, train and bus. Visited the Grand Canyon.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We have a large hall with fan. Also mattresses to sleep on the floor if the room is occupied. We expect guests to contribute towards food/utilities during their stay here.
I have over 300 board games which i have collected which guests can enjoy, lots of movies and tv shows to watch, and over 4000 books from which they can enjoy a good read.

We have 3 boys aged 9,8 and 7 who love playing with guests, and would play with you and your kids, and several dogs mostly Labrador Retrievers who also love to play.

I can take you on any of my experiential tours which you would like to join in. ( costs depend on each tour)
