About Me
To potential guests:
Read my profile and especially "my home" section, before you send me a request or before accepting my invitation.
Thank you.
To hosts: I will comply with all your house's rules as i am very respectful as a person.
Just an easy-going, down to earth guy who adores simplicity and dislikes formalities.
Kind, caring and polite to other people.
A discreet, honest, cheerful, humorous, crazy, tolerant and open minded person who believes that we should treat other people just the way we desire to be treated by others.
I might not be that young of age anymore but I for sure stay young in spirit and in mind!
As an executive sales manager, working for huge multinational companies, i have been lucky enough to travell all over the world, as all companies provide their sales stuff with incentive trips...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like meeting new people and being usefull to them.
I also love interacting with people of different cultures, habbits, countries, religions and cultures and making new friends too.
I believe that the basic principals of CS is to share, to help, to trust and if we all do so, be sure that we will cash back much more than we actually gave to other CS's as the joy of "offering" is much more stronger, compared to the joy of "receiving".
Antonis Samarakis, a worldwide known Greek author, once wrote:
"There has not been such an epoch before; an epoch that although our roofs are so close one another, though the souls of the people are so far away from each other..."
So, i believe that by being an active CS, you come closer to other people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
Artistic greek singers.
My favourites are Eleftheria Arvanitaki, Charoula Alexiou, and George Dalaras. Also open to most kinds of music, from classical music to phychedelic trance.
Books:
I love scientific books about astrophysics, change management, phsychology, maths, management and many more and i have read (literally) thousands of them.
Spontaneously and without thinking i would say that "The monk who sold his Ferrari" and "who moved my cheese" are some of my favourites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hmmm
I do amazing things almost every day...
If i have to be more specific then i would say that being successful in sales and managing to create my own unit and become a successful sales manager is one of them.
Update : since January 2021, i created two YouTube channels, so that to express my creativity, do good to other people and break my routine, working from home, due to the covid-19.
The first one is Dimitris' Greek Recipes and the second one is Dimitris' Lab Of Science
Teach, Learn, Share
My personal moto is: "A winner has goals though a looser has plenty of excuses" and this is combined with a "can do" mentality.
