CURRENT MISSION

I 've just finished my master studies inVienna and had some gap months to enjoy life without responsibilities. After a bit of travelling, volunteering, meeting good friends, learning about river conservation and working in the humanitarian sector, I am now based in my hometown and working for an environmental NGO. A fresh start in this beautiful corner of the world and a new life chapter :)

2018 version mission: Conquering the past and creating the future.. search, explore, meet different places and people..experience every single moment of my youth (if 28yo is still youth)..sculpt my path while joining other people's paths. Help this planet become a better place and all its creatures get closer and happier

ABOUT ME

Hello people :) I am Dimitris

I just finished my master studies (organic agriculture, agroecology and food systems) in Vienna. After about four years abroad I moved back to Greece to treat my self with sun, snow, oliveoil and feta hahaha Actually get some gap months to travel, reorganise myself and prepare my next steps. So I am still on 'exploring mode'..

In general I love searching for hidden spots and destinations..I am the one who always follows the narrowest path and tries to find something new away from the crowd! I love walking on the mountains,being surrounded by pure untouched nature, meating new cultures, new people, new scenes..smell, taste, hear, excite my senses ..being with smily people..making people smile..having interesting conversations about whatever (but mainly earth, plants, mountains, history)..deep-thinking in isolated peaks,beaches,streets,terraces..and of course enjoying H2O in all its possible forms - skiing on frozen water (snow), canyoning through white-water gorges, surfing beautiful curvy waves, snoorkeling in crystal clear waters, breathing the moist air of mountain valleys :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

..met a huge sea turtle while snorkeling at Zante island
..seen the stars n' the Milky Way from the high peaks of Mount Olympus.. accompanied by the 12 ancient Greek gods
..first descended the North face of Olytsikas mountain on skis
..crossed Europe from Sweden to Greece with my thumb up as a ticket
..crashed on a van while cycling at 70km/hour, without a single scratch!

I can teach you some basic things on Photoshop n' Premiere and show you how to prepare some simple delicious greek dishes (tzatziki, briam, kourkoutopita, spanakopita, batsaria etc) !! And of course, teach you some useful greek phrases that will make you famous and beloved amongst greeks :D

我可以与沙发主分享些什么

As I am currently working 9-5 I cannot spend as much time as I used to with my hosts. So I can show you around and hang out after five. Till then you can enjoy some quiet time at home or explore the city and see if my suggestions were worth visiting! On weekends I try to be in the mountains around Ioannina and you're welcome to join :)
I also love taking my visitors to viewpoints of the city and sharing travel stories while drinking some greek wine :)
