Overview
About Me
I am an east coast expat, currently living in South Lake Tahoe, CA. I am also an avid adventurist, hiker, photographer, ski instructor, reader/writer, and margarita enthusiast. My personal philosophy: always remember to be kind.
I'm currently traveling through Mexico and Central America!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think its important to get beyond the tourist traps and resort when traveling, and meeting/staying with a local is a great way to do just that. what better way to learn about that hole in the wall taco place, or secret swimming spot than first hand, from your local host. couch surfing is an excellent way to meet new people in new places, and I am so excited to be apart of that.
Beyond this, as a kid, we often hosted friends and family, and I always loved hosting my friends for sleepovers. Henceforth, at a young age, I learned how rewarding it is to open your home to others.

Music, Movies, and Books
I won't lie, I am a Harry Potter obsessive, and have been since I was a kid. As an adult, I am still an avid reader; some of my favorite recent reads are The Glass Castle, The 10th Circle, Gone Girl, Wild, and The Kite Runner. I listen to pretty much all music types, although I suppose I'm not a fan of screamo or death metal lol. I love live music, and I've seen over 100 different musicians in concert.
My favorite movies are all over the map - anything from Shawshank Redemption to Dirty Dancing, from Kill Bill to Up.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach skiing and snowboarding as a living, so I can share my knowledge with you!
I hope that whatever you are passionate about in life, you will share with me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook, and would be more than happy to do so for you as a thank you!!
