I come from a colourful, beachy and sunny region in the south of Italy called Puglia. Sun and sea are my siblings.

However, my heart belongs to Europe. In 2014 I moved to the Netherlands for studying Artificial Intelligence in Maastricht, later I worked for IBM in Amsterdam. Artificial intelligent is that branch of computer science in which you make intelligent programs, you analyse big data and you program robots.

I am now currently doing my PhD in Learning Analytics at the Open University of The Netherlands. My PhD combines my AI and data science background with my love for Education. I am ready to use my two-fold passions to improve education with latest technologies.

Education has been always my top-cause and my mission. I've been a student activist since I was 14 and I am still involved in a European NGO that works in the field of Education.

I travelled a lot, but always for doing something meaningful (either work/volunteering), almost never only for sightseeing. I think travelling just for the sake of visiting places is quite often an egoistic fashion for rich kids and to me, it tastes like neo-colonialism.

I like diversity and peer learning and stretching your mind out of your comfort zone. I tend to be however quite critical toward life, especially I don't like power structures and unfairness.

My PHILOSOPHY is that you don't choose the place you have born, but you choose your beliefs. I don't judge people for who they are, but I challenge them for what they believe.

Music is my favourite form of ART. I am not a huge fan of movies, tv-series or novels. Rather read scientific stuff :)

I organised a training on social inclusion and student rights with 50 students in the periphery of Sofia, Bulgaria.

I provided aid to African refugees in my hometown Bari, Italy.
