Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is first of all a great way to to meet new people! At the same time I find that you can get so much more out of your travel when you get tips and tricks from the local people. I also find it a great way to make traveling affordable so that we can experience more of the world with the same amount of money!

Interests

Next to my studies I like hanging out with friends, sporting and hiking. I enjoy music and nights out in one of the many bars here in Groningen, but also movie nights with some wine and chocolate. I've done some different sports over the years, but now I stopped organized sports and just do some running for the fun of it. In October last year I participated in my first half-marathon, that's definitely something I would wanna do again! Further I'm very much of an outdoor person; I love hiking and camping far away from traffic and city lights. Living in the Netherlands, this is not as easily accessible as it was when I lived in Norway, but I try to use the opportunity when I can. Last but not least I love to travel and over the next years I would love to explore more of eastern Europe.
