ABOUT ME

I am a generous, open-minded and positive person with a big sense of humour. People say that I'm very good at puns... ;)

I love travelling, meeting people from other places and sharing experiences.
I am a spiritual person, with an insatiable hunger for knowledge.

I live in Saint-Ismier with my boyfriend Bruno. This is a quiet little town, 15 min driving from Grenoble and surrounded by the Alps mountains.

Bruno and I came back in December 2014 from a long trip in Canada and the US. Thanks to Couchsurfing, we were hosted by amazing people and we had such a good time ! Now it is our turn to host travellers and to make their stay as good as our stay was in North America. :)

I am in love with Nature, and I enjoy the simpler things in life such as listening to the sound of the birds, admiring the wonder of a sunset, observing wildlife... the Earth is so amazing !

Music, Movies, and Books

Very large...

Funny movies are my favorite (especially old french comedies) but I also enjoy adventure, action, romantic comedies, thrillers... and of course, I love animation movies !

I like all kinds of music, but my favorite one is rock music. Actually, it depends on my mood ! :)

I used to read a lot, but unfortunately, I haven't read any book for months, as I was travelling in North America.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What a difficult choice... I've seen/done so many amazing things !!! For instance :
- A fantastic safari adventure in Kenya : indescribable emotions !
- Swimming with a dugong in New-Caledonia : a wonderful gift from Nature !
- Travelling by train in Canada, from east to west : leaving Toronto by night and ending in the wonderful Rockies three days later... wow !
- A whale watching in Vancouver Island : I could see orcas, humpback whales, sea lions... a magical day !
- A road trip in the west coast of the USA : I really fell in love with Bryce Canyon and other national parks.
- Skydiving in Oahu, Hawaii : SOOO C-R-A-Z-Y !!!
- Snorkeling by night with manta rays in Big Island, Hawaii : impressive, but sensational !!!
- Watching the northern lights in Yukon : I cannot find the words to describe that beauty ! :D
- And of course, the fabulous road trip with Bruno, driving 20.000 kms during 3 months, from Vancouver to Halifax. :)
