About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Let's see how much I can do and experience before I kick the bucket/the reaper catches me/ I'm broke.
ABOUT ME
I want to really experience the places I visit, which for me means meeting locals and exploring a lot. Do I take a map? Not always.
I'm all about adventures, so bring it on.
Unless it involves spiders. No spiders. Please.
Most other animals are welcome.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Some friends of mine were constantly hosting people, so I decided to get involved. Sadly, at my new apartment, I cannot host any surfers, but I am perfectly open to meeting up for coffee or drinks and hanging out. And you can always message me if you need help with anything.
I've had the pleasure of meeting surfers from all over the world, so I'm excited about being a part of this community.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been a sort-of host along with some friends, and I've met some wonderful people that way. So many different backgrounds and different goals in life, it's very eye-opening. It's also really interesting to hear the surfer's perspective on the place I live.
One of my friends who also surfs stayed at my apartment for a few days. I love being able to help out when possible even though I don't have a couch available right now.
Interests
I love animals in general, horse riding, beach volleyball, Pilates, Yoga, running, surfing (on the water, not just on a sofa), paddle-boarding, hiking, trekking, etc. I also like chilling out, drinking a good beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) and having discussions with open-minded people.
Art, reading, writing, languages, music, singing, etc. I'm a bit all over the place.
Oh, and travelling. I don't have time to add all of the countries I plan to visit, but I plan to have quite a few stamps in my passport.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm open to almost anything.
I especially like hearing music and seeing films that are local so I get some insight into the dynamics of the community.
Current love is Doctor Who (10th Doctor is top notch!), but I watch quite a few series when I can't sleep.
And if you're into quirky films, check out almost any Swedish film and you're good to go.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This is clearly not enough space to write a life story.
Top experience I can think of right now is...
Moving to another country where I couldn't even speak the language and somehow built a life for myself.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to go after your goals and make them real.
Another valuable skill I have: managing frizzy ginger hair. Very useful skill to have.
I want to learn ALL THE THINGS, so I'm open to a discussion about almost anything.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Experiences and stories, and some cooking/baking as well.
I work as a chef and baker now and it's one of the most rewarding things I've done.
Living in the Middle East as a tall ginger also brings with it some amusing stories, so there's that as well.
