ABOUT ME

I am a bit diffent. Sharp, honest and accurate person. My friends say I trust people too much and other people see me as very serious and tough...but that's only when I am at work. I am a workoholic. I love my job (archaeologist) and I am good at it...but my intrests are much wider. I like art. I love music (r'n'b, hiphop, d'n'b, rock, breakbeat...etc.). I write poetry and I enjoy taking a lot of pictures (but not so much while travelling...that just takes time). I travel a lot. For my work I get to see all the secluded areas of the world, but for myself I like to discover huge cities. I've been all around, but I do get homesick pretty fast. I do work a lot (at weekends also at a local alternative club), but I still find time to party. I prefer small parties with good music and non-yapi folk. I don't smoke, drink or take any drugs. I'm wild enough without that;) I've been a vegeterian for about 20 years now, but I have no problem with meat-eating people (ha ha...that sounds so serious). Archaeology is my way of life, but my other self is a true chef. Cooking is my second love. I couldn't live without sports: yoga, swimming, cycling, ice-skating and skating, jogging, kettlebells...etc. I'm a semi-professional Kettlebell lifter. I hate mountain climbing. I'm more of a flat country person. I'm a bit egocentric sometimes. I don't like to waste time with non-intellegent plain people. I used to act in Improv so I appreciate a good sense of humor in people. I enjoy my life a lot. I enjoy the view of the ocean, fine cuisine, a good movie and talking to interesting people.
I left my heart in Hawai'i.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't let other people interfere with your life. Being so into science I sometimes wander out too much. Try to keep your feet on the ground.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had the most amazing eperience when CS in Hawai'i and also hosted a few people in Ljubljana. It's a totally different way of travelling and discovering new places and cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have started with the surfing unintentionally on the second trip to Hawaii. A few people have offered me a couch by themselves and then it just went on...everyone was super nice and offered more than I ever imagined (trips, lunch, luxurious couch...).

Interests

I'm all into new IT gadgets and fast cars and motorcycles. I bought an old car which I am trying to find time to renovate it now.
I can't live without sports and music.

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer a good Japanese horror movie, alternative music and poetry. My favorite author is Emily Dickinson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Decided to leave on a two week 3000km trip to Balkans in two hours...on a motorcycle with a friend. Just bought a jacket, pants, grabbed some clothes a camera and left with a small bag size 50x50cm. I returned alive, barely:D
I still appreciate every chance I get to swim with the dolphins. Those are truly amazing moments.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to work on your car (change the light bulbs, pure in some oil, park fast), how to get people to respect you or calm down when you're stressed. We can practise yoga together or I can explain a lot about healthy sporting and nutricism. Of course letting you in the world of archaeology is one of the main courses I offer all the time;)
