ABOUT ME
My name is Markus and I'm a open-minded danish guy living in Copenhagen.
I have been couchsurfing quiet a lot during the few past years in both Europe, North- and Southamerica. I've spend a lot of time in Argentina during my travels and find that part of Southamerica interesting in particular.
I lived for at longer period in both Tucumán and Buenos Aires, going to high-school and working.
At the moment I'm studying law at the University of Copenhagen and I plan to go abroad to study my masters.
The last big trip I had was two years ago.
A friend and I went hitchhiking in Argentina, Uruguay and Chile and in bus all the way to Bogota in Colombia. We tried to keep a low budget during all of the trip and that gave us a whole new experience of travelling. Sleeping on the street, eating rice every day and travelling with strangers is so different from the ordinary way of travel.
I hope to be able to host some people here in my apartment in Copenhagen and I don't really have a code for which people I choose to host. If i have the time, you are more than welcome but if I dont respond its probably beacause I'm busy.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some of my favourite movies would be 'Crash' by Paul Haggis, 'Le fabuleux destin de d'Amélie Poulain' by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, 'Elephant' by Gus Van Sant and a lot of war movies.I like lots of different types of music. Jurassic 5, Fat Freddys Drop, Yann Tiersen, Radiohead and David Bowie are just some of them. I read a lot of books about history and historical persons and I've really enjoyied biographies like 'Evita' by Nicholas Fraser, 'Long Walk to Freedom' by Nelson Mandela and 'Wild Swans' by Jung Chang. All of them give an interesting perspective on their time and the events happening around them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Some things still clear in my memory:
Bungy jumping in Greece
Sailing the Iguazu Falls in Argentina/Brasil
Riding bicycle at Roskilde Festival 2008
Hitchhiking in Patagonia
Roadtripping the States and Canada
Teach, Learn, Share
