Finding out what I want to do in life
ABOUT ME
This is my fifth year in Scandinavia!!! As much as I like to complain about it, it's been fairly educating :)
It's been a while since I've used couchsurfing. I find myself (I'm old!!!) less wanting to waste my energy on the things that I don't like. For example, feeling obliged to talk to people when I don't feel like we're connecting and we end up with meaningless conversations. And couchsurfing has changed a lot.
I don't want to offend anyone if I don't answer their text but I might not be available or in my introverted mood.
I'm queer ( live with 2 cats of course :) ) with zero tolerance to bullshit :) I like to cook to my guests but with 'no pressure' mantra. YOU DON'T HAVE TO! That means also, you don't have to feel like you need to write a personalized request. I will check your profile anyways and that what's gonna make up my mind.
I wake up early and go to work at 6:30 and sadly that means you too. I'm sorry in advance :)

PHILOSOPHY
"I have never listened to anyone who criticized my taste in space travel, sideshows or gorillas. When this occurs, I pack up my dinosaurs and leave the room." - Ray Bradbury.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met a lot of dear friends through this community. It says something, no?
Interests
Photography, art, Yoga, books, traveling, languages, Sketching.
Observing people's faces specially in the morning or while they're riding their bikes. Asking all the wrong questions until I get a good one. Touching old books in flee markets and looking through old photographs there. Listening to the sounds skateboards make on the concrete. I could go on forever about these small details :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything that's not mainstream is fine by me, specially when it's live. Very much into Icelandic music.
Something that I observed about books is that I don't have any inclinations towards a specific writer, they just show up at random to tell me something I need to know at that time.
Now, I ask strangers I meet about their favorite books and read them. It binds me to them somehow.
